Finally A New Update!

It has been so long since I have posted on here. I am finally able to take a little time to blog this morning. The McGee family has had a lot happening in and around our home since I my previous post at Ava's dedication back in February.
Ava is now approaching 6 months! I can't believe how quickly she is growing up! We watch her meet new milestones each week. She is beginning to sit up on her own and moving towards crawling. Oh boy! I already warned Hayden that many of her toys will have to be put up when Ava begins to crawl. We will be able to play with them only when Ava is resting. She is ok with that.
Hayden is a wonderful big sister! She plays great with Ava and tries her hardest to help out mommy and daddy whenever she can. Hayden is now two years old and is continuing to mature like crazy! She is such a bright young girl that she keeps us constantly on our toes. Just the other day she was telling us all about how the stop light works. She hasn't quite learned that it is ok to turn right when the light is red so we had to quickly help her understand that it was ok that daddy went when the light was still green.
Our girls are so sweet and precious! We couldn't have asked for two more perfect daughters! To watch them interact just brings great joy to my heart.
Bruce is getting closer to the end of this difficult semester in school. This year has been a hard one for him as he is not only working through school but also helping to prepare for the new building at church. There has been a lot of stress in his life but I would say he is handling very well and still doing all he can to help out around the house!
I am beginning a new chapter in my life. I have been working with Southern Living at Home for a little over a year now and am making the change to working with Thirty-One gifts now. I am looking forward to this new change as I become a consultant with this company. Their inventory is full of wonderful totes, purses and even kids stuff! To have Bruce on my side as I make this transition makes me even more excited to begin this journey.
As the summer approaches, I will have more time to post on my blog and I plan to do so. I hope to get up some pictures from the past few months as well ASAP! Thanks for reading! More to come!
