We took Ava to get her hair cut for the first time a couple of days before Christmas. We just knew it was going to be a nightmare with how clingy she has been lately. Ava has been sick for about a month now and unable to leave the house. Now that she was in the clear, we had to get her haircut before she began to see people again...it was just a mess. So, even though she has been attached to Mommy since getting sick, we decided to try this task. To our amazement, she did very well.
When we arrived to the place, we let her have a little time to just kind of play with the toys. Then, Hayden got her hair cut first so Ava could watch her big sister. While Hayden was getting her hair cut, Ava decided she wanted to sit in one of the "cool cars" like her sister. So, we put her in to kind of test the waters...so far, so good.
Finally, it was Ava's turn! Even though she was a little timid and unsure of what was happening, she did very well!! She made it all the way through without tears until...
it was time to trim around the ears. Then it was all over! So our end result picture involves tears. Oh well, she looks adorable anyways!
